Nissan’s Skyline has been an ambassador for high performance Japanese cars for many a year. The series, which stretches all the way back to 1957, was joined in August 1981 by the sixth generation car that included the sporty 2000 Turbo GT-E S. Technology buffs of the day were captivated by features such as a Driver Guide System which used a directional sensor as a compass to give straight-line distance to your destination, and with such a consummate package of style, performance and cutting-edge technology it was inevitable that the car would enjoy massive popularity.
